VOLUNTEER AT AMESBURY CARNIVAL

Carnival 2025 (and preceeding SuperFete events) is organised by a (very small) army of around half a dozen volunteers, who commit a considerable amount of their own time in putting on the event. Many of these volunteers also help organise the other community events that take place throughout the year, such as the Festive Fayre, Duck Race, Pudsey Walk, Santa Sleigh Runs, Gala Dinner, Quiz Night and Easter Bunny Visit - to name a few! Some are also business owners who sponsor activities, provide infrastructure, or donate funds to the event.

 

Volunteers are something that both the Amesbury Carnival Committee and Stonehenge Chamber Events Team are short on, both groups welcome involvement from anyone willing to help organise events or help on the day.

We desperately need on the day helpers across all 3 days of the main events, such as marshals, traffic management volunteers, litter pickers, ticket scanners, car park attendants, event control staff & more! All volunteers get free admission, free refreshments & food on the day - and of course the satisfaction of knowing that they have contributed to an amazing community event.
